Photography & Imagery
Photography Style
Photography should feel authentic, human-centred, and purpose-driven — never staged or generic stock. Images tell the story of transformation, collaboration, and impact.
Authentic & Candid
Real people in real work environments. Capture genuine moments of collaboration, problem-solving, and celebration — not forced poses.
Warm & Considered
Favour warm colour temperatures that complement the gold palette. Natural light preferred. Avoid cold, clinical, over-processed imagery.
Purpose-Driven
Every image should convey momentum, progress, or human connection. Show the journey, not just the destination.
Diverse & Inclusive
Represent the diversity of the people and industries Arcturious works with. Avoid tokenistic representation.
Image Treatment
Guidelines for how photography and imagery should be processed and overlaid to maintain brand consistency.
Dark Overlay
Use for text readability on hero images
Gold Wash
Premium feel for featured content
Aurora Tint
Accent overlay for case study headers
Duotone
Bold treatment for blog and social
Illustration Style
Arcturious uses SVG illustrations for diagrams, service visuals, and decorative elements. These should complement — never compete with — photography.
Clean Linework
Illustrations use clean, geometric linework with consistent 1.5–2px strokes. Avoid hand-drawn or sketch styles.
Brand Colour Palette
Illustrations must use brand colours only. Primary golds for key elements, accent colours for supporting details, dark foundation for structure.
Flat with Subtle Depth
Use flat design with minimal, considered use of gradients for depth. Avoid 3D renders, heavy shadows, or photo-realistic styles.
Abstract & Conceptual
Favour abstract representations of concepts (connection, growth, transformation) over literal depictions. Let the imagery evoke, not explain.
