Colour Palette
Arcturious is a black and gold brand. Midnight and Solar Gold form the backbone of every touchpoint โ from UI and marketing through to print and merchandise. These two colours alone should be enough to make any piece of work feel unmistakably Arcturious.
Warm White is used as the background for most presentations and documents, as content is often easier to read on a light surface.
The accent palette exists as a supporting cast, used very sparingly and primarily in presentations, documents, and data visualisation where additional colours help make tables, infographics, and complex content easier to read and digest.
Primary Colours
The four core brand colours. Solar Gold and Polar Sand bring warmth and energy; Midnight and Warm White anchor the light and dark foundations.
Accent Colours
Use sparingly โ primarily in presentations, documents, and data visualisation where additional colour helps differentiate content in tables, charts, and infographics.
Dark Foundation
A layered dark palette provides depth and hierarchy. Use progressively lighter shades for elevated surfaces and subtle separations.
Neutrals
Warm-tinted neutrals for text hierarchy. Text Black for light backgrounds, Warm White for dark. Avoid pure #FFFFFF or #000000.
Gradients
Use sparingly for hero sections, feature highlights, and premium UI moments.
Functional Colours
Semantic colours for system states and feedback. Warning is derived from Solar Flare. All functional colours meet WCAG AA contrast on dark surfaces.
